Manufacturing and shipping of equipment

We manufactured equipment for our sister company, MELKOV-WH, in accordance with their production documentation, and then shipped it to a cement plant in Rüdersdorf, Germany.
So-called solid alternative fuels, such as processed waste (e.g. plastics, textiles or tyres) or various types of biomass, are increasingly being used as an energy source for cement production instead of fossil fuels. These fuels not only reduce fuel costs, but also CO₂ emissions, while adding value to materials that would otherwise be discarded as waste. In order to ensure that these fuels can be burned safely and efficiently, they must first be processed into a homogeneous, fine material. This is achieved using A TEC’s Rocket Mill technology, which combines crushing, drying and homogenisation in a single step.
This is where our group’s equipment comes in. It transports material into the Rocket Mill and subsequently to the combustion process. Our technology thus helps to transport suitable solid alternative fuels all the way to the cement rotary kiln.
From the Rocket Mill:
- MELCON C-Z chain conveyor
- 2 x MELCON S screw conveyors
- MELSTAR-M air-blowing rotary valve
To the Rocket Mill:
- MELCON S screw conveyor with hopper (connected to a Vecoplan chain conveyor).
